While I was in Lubbock, Texas for Jennifer and Will’s wedding, I also had the honor of shooting Stephanie and Paul’s engagement photos! Stephanie and Paul are getting married at the end of November, and I can’t wait for the wedding! It sounds like it is going to be a blast!
Early Labor Day morning, I woke up to take photos of the Cole Family 5K Walk / Run. It was a great event that Hillcrest Church of Christ put on to help raise funds for the Cole family, and let me tell you, it was AWESOME!! I was so thrilled with how many people showed up on an early morning that they could have easily slept in, and I think that the run was able to raise some significant funds for the family!!

So, the West Texas Fair and Rodeo is right around the corner, and I have been thinking of all of the fun lights, great colors, and general atmosphere of the fair. It got me thinking, that it would be so fun to do an engagement session out at the fair grounds!! I have never done one at the fair before, but I have loads of ideas, and would love to work with a couple willing to try it out! So, leave a comment on this blog if you are interested in doing an engagement session out at the fair grounds, and I will hook you up with a FREE engagement session!! That’s right… FREE!!
It would include a 2 hour photo shoot, a private online gallery for viewing and ordering, and $25 worth of print credit for you to order photos, canvases, save-the-dates, whatever!! You have to leave me a comment on the blog, and you have to be willing to do the shoot at the fair grounds (this means while the fair is here the next few weeks!)
Tomorrow I am accepting photos for the general public photography competition that goes along with the fair, then Wednesday, I am judging!! I would love to see some of your faces and works of art!!
I do have to add that this is only available to couples that I don’t have a signed contract with already, and is for the fair in Abilene, Texas!
