Buffalo Gap Food and Wine Summit Hosted at Perini’s {Abilene, Texas}

A few weeks ago while helping Kelly select her flowers for her wedding at Baack’s Florist, Luke, the owner, mentioned that they were going to be decorating and designing the Buffalo Gap Food and Wine Summit a few weeks later. Baack’s didn’t have very many photos of the events that they do, so Luke invited me out to take photos for them to use for advertising purposes. The whole weekend was hosted by Perini’s out in Buffalo Gap, Texas. On Friday night, Chef Stephen Pyles was the chef of honor, and the menu looked absolutely delectible. The theme that evening was very Morrocan / Eastern feeling. They even had belly dancers perform after I left! On Saturday evening, there was a sampling of 13 different chefs – from bar-be-que to desserts, and more. Ashley and Cody’s Engagement Session {Abilene, Texas}

Now that Ashley and Cody have had a chance to see their pictures, it is not blog world’s turn! I had an absolute blast photographing Ashley and Cody. They had three outfits perfectly planned, and a great idea about what exactly they were wanting from their engagement session. It is so great to have clients that already have a vision! They were wanting a little bit more modern, and I was so excited to accomodate! This is my kind of style! This post is now the first post in a new category here on the blog entitled “What to Wear” so that people can get a good idea of what to wear to a session! So, without any further rambling, here is Ashley and Cody!

Wilson’s College Graduation Photos {Abilene, Texas}

Wilson is graduating from ACU, and I couldn’t be happier for him! He is graduating Summa Cum Laude with a pre-law degree, and is on his way to the University of Texas Law School! The reason for the shoot was to make a customized graduation announcement to let everyone know that he is graduating ACU, and starting school again in the fall at UT! The design of the grad announcement was planned, then we did the shoot to get photos that would look the best in the format that Wilson liked. So, that is why almost all of the photos are vertical.After Wilson sends the announcements to his friends and family for them to see first, I will post his design on here for you to see, too!

Congrats, Wilson! I wish you all the best in Austin!

Of course at the end of the shoot, we had to get a few with his UT Law shirt on!!

Shawn and Kelly E-Session {Abilene, Texas}

Here are the rest of Shawn and Kelly’s engagement photos! I can’t wait for Kelly’s bridals this next weekend, and the wedding at the end of May! I have been helping Kelly some with coordinating her wedding, and we went shopping for flowers and tuxes yesterday. Luke at Baack’s florist was so much help to us!!
