Winners of the Give-Away!!

I know you are all here to see the winners of the Christmas Special Give-Away, but I have some exciting news to announce! A Moment in Time Photography now has a STUDIO!!! The lease was signed, the studio painted, furnished, and put together (mostly:)) this week, so from now on, all client meetings as well as preview and order sessions will now be in downtown Abilene! The address is 1133 N. 2nd, Suite 208. We will be hosting an open house soon, so keep checking back for details on when that will be!!

And, now for what you all have checked the blog today for… the WINNERS!! To start off, I chose this bowl from Blue Bell Creameries in Brenham, Texas (where I lived until I was 6) to be our drawing bowl! I carefully wrote each person’s name down as many times as they had entries. We had some with only one entry, and some with all five possible entries!

Christmas, Christmas Time is Near….

That’s right, fall has come and Christmas is right around the corner!! This past week the cool weather has really put me in the mood to listen to Christmas music! And, in honor of the holidays (especially my favorite holiday of the year) A Moment in Time Photography is going to be having specials on family sessions!

For the first time EVER, that’s right EVER, A Moment in Time Photography will be including a few digital negatives with EACH family package. That’s right, a digital negative gives you release to email the photos, put them up on Facebook, and it even comes with printing rights for you to print your favorite images for loved ones for the holidays! Cole Family 5K Walk / Run {Abilene, Texas}

Early Labor Day morning, I woke up to take photos of the Cole Family 5K Walk / Run. It was a great event that Hillcrest Church of Christ put on to help raise funds for the Cole family, and let me tell you, it was AWESOME!! I was so thrilled with how many people showed up on an early morning that they could have easily slept in, and I think that the run was able to raise some significant funds for the family!!

Fair Grounds Engagement Shoot…. FOR FREE!!

So, the West Texas Fair and Rodeo is right around the corner, and I have been thinking of all of the fun lights, great colors, and general atmosphere of the fair. It got me thinking, that it would be so fun to do an engagement session out at the fair grounds!! I have never done one at the fair before, but I have loads of ideas, and would love to work with a couple willing to try it out! So, leave a comment on this blog if you are interested in doing an engagement session out at the fair grounds, and I will hook you up with a FREE engagement session!! That’s right… FREE!!

It would include a 2 hour photo shoot, a private online gallery for viewing and ordering, and $25 worth of print credit for you to order photos, canvases, save-the-dates, whatever!! You have to leave me a comment on the blog, and you have to be willing to do the shoot at the fair grounds (this means while the fair is here the next few weeks!)

Tomorrow I am accepting photos for the general public photography competition that goes along with the fair, then Wednesday, I am judging!! I would love to see some of your faces and works of art!!

I do have to add that this is only available to couples that I don’t have a signed contract with already, and is for the fair in Abilene, Texas!
