About a week ago, I had the honor of photographing Hallie’s Bridal Luncheon. I first met Hallie in high school, when she was a freshman entering youth group my junior year. She was so sweet, and I loved giving her and other freshman girls rides to events. Now, she is all grown up and just married the man of her dreams. The Thursday before her wedding, Breanne, Valerie, and Glenda Hilliard helped host Hallie’s bridal luncheon and it was absolutely beautiful! Here are the photos….
I met Chris and Sommer through church almost two years ago. Chris works at ACU, and Sommer is a very talented massage therapist! Their little boy Maddox is as precious as they come, and Chris and Sommer asked me if I could create some family portraits for them with a more modern flair. One of Maddox’s favorite colors is orange, so you can see that emphasized in their clothing! Enjoy the photos!
This weekend I had the honor of photographing Ben and Millie Zickefoose’s wedding reception. They got married a few weeks back and I couldn’t be happier for them! The party was absolutely gorgeous, and I had so much fun capturing the beauty of the day, and many old friends getting together to celebrate and chat!!

So, this past weekend my husband Zane and I got to spend some time back in his hometown of Odessa, Texas. Zane’s grandparents, whom we affectionately call Mimi and Pa, were celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. Zane’s Aunt Diana had the celebration at her house a few miles away in Midland, Texas. It was so sweet to be a part of their celebration, and to get to see most of Zane’s family members all in one sitting. Zane’s mom and aunts (among others, of course!) worked so hard at creating a perfect event that Mimi and Pa would enjoy… small and simple, yet filled with family and love. Pa had not ever gotten Mimi an engagement ring all of those years ago, so after a bit of encouragement, decided that a 60th anniversary was a great time to present his bride with a gorgeous solitaire engagement ring from Occasions in Midland. While Mimi has a wedding band, she has worn her mother’s engagement ring for the past several years. It was beautiful, and Pa even had a lovely speech to accompany the lovely ring.
