Back in December, A Moment in Time Photography hosted a Christmas photo session give-away. Jacki was one of the lucky winners, but had a new grandbaby on the way, not due until January, so she requested to do the session when her new grandson was born. The day of the shoot was a crazy one to say the least, but I am happy with how the photos turned out! The first ones are done at Howard and Jacki’s house, and the others in a bluebonnet field not too far from their house. Jacki, I hope you love these photos of your precious grandkids!

Wright Family Portraits {Abilene, Texas}

A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing the Wright family. Deneice had purchased a family session at the silent auction at the Business Expo, with proceeds going to a great cause! Deneice wanted portraits of her family, including her mother in law, all in white crisp shirts for her gift certificate. They just had their preview and order session at my studio this evening, and it was a delight hanging out with the crew again!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend! I had a great weekend myself, and it was so nice to spend the weekend with family. It is always great to be reminded of Christ dying for us, but the fantastic part of his death is that he rose again!! I am so glad that we have a holiday each year to remind us of that joy.

Back to the regularly scheduled programming, Jama won a free photo session at the Taste of Homes Cooking Show back in November, and we scheduled these photos just in time for their son’s second birthday. Mike and Jama just left my studio a few minutes ago after their preview and order session, and I can’t hardly stand it, I want to blog their family’s photos!! Jama won a free photo session at the Taste of Homes Cooking Show back in November, and we scheduled these photos just in time for their son’s second birthday. (Happy Birthday, Jackson!!) Anyways, check later in the week for a photo post, but in the meantime, I wanted to share the slideshow of the photos that we got from the session!

The Weaver Family {Belton, Texas}

Oh my goodness I have some catching up to do! So much going on and not enough time. Anyways, over the holidays, I have had the honor of photographing many lovely families. One was the entire family of my sister in law. Mr. and Mrs. Weaver live in Belton, so all of their kids and Zane and I met in Belton for their portrait session, and a fun day of board games!! They decided that they would like their photos taken up at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor, and it was such a lovely campus. Zach and Melissa (Zane’s brother and his wife) flew in all the way from North Carolina for Christmas, so of course we were thrilled to hang out, as we don’t get to often enough! Ben and Michelle drove in from the metroplex, and Nicole and Jason drove all the way across town. Hope y’all enjoy the photos! I had a so much fun hanging out with you all!

This is a classic “Weaver” pose. At most weddings, get-togethers, etc. they almost always take a photo like this. Sheila was so thrilled that she was in the middle of the hug this time!

Aren’t Melissa’s eyes gorgeous?? Keep looking through the photos… there are a LOT of beautiful eyes in this family!

These next photos were so fun. I just kept on taking photos and all three of the “kids” couples would come up with different poses inside of the arches. To watch the whole series one photo after another is pretty funny!! It is always so fun to take photos of people that love to have a great time!

I wonder where the beautiful eyes come from? What do you think?

These arches we did the same thing with the different poses, except this time included Dick and Sheila!

Nicole is a VERY talented Graphic Designer, who owns her own studio in Belton called Zeal Design Studio. She has designed book covers, logos, pamphlets, and all sorts of fun things!! She was wanting a new headshot to put on her website, so here it is!

Wouldn’t this one look so cool printed on metallic photo paper? I think so!

This past week I got to take Stan and Jessi and their adorable kids’ photos! We had such a great time hanging out, and their boys were great! I had my friend Cassie come along with me to help with the kids / act like a goofball for laughs / feed the little one dinner while we snuck a few shots with just Stan and Jessi, and she was a WONDERFUL help! Thanks so much, Cassie!! Jessi has already sent me a testimonial to use on my website!

We have a three year old and 6 month old, which you think would be stressful enough, but Jennifer handled it like the pro that she is. A and K’s Six Month Photos {Abilene, Texas}

A couple of weeks ago, I had the honor of shooting A and K’s six month portraits! It was such a blast! I have never gotten to take photos of twin babies before, and while it was as challenging as it sounds, it was also twice as great!! I think that their grandparents will be thrilled with their Christmas presents this year, don’t you think?

Cole Family 5K Walk / Run {Abilene, Texas}

Early Labor Day morning, I woke up to take photos of the Cole Family 5K Walk / Run. It was a great event that Hillcrest Church of Christ put on to help raise funds for the Cole family, and let me tell you, it was AWESOME!! I was so thrilled with how many people showed up on an early morning that they could have easily slept in, and I think that the run was able to raise some significant funds for the family!!
