A few weekends back I had the pleasure of photographing Abby and Bobby’s gorgeous wedding. Abby and Bobby live in Dallas, but found me online. What a small world it was because it turns out that Bobby’s family knew mine from way back! Abby had impeccable taste in a true southern chic style. She was the stylist for the whole day, and it was absolutely perfect! Enjoy the photos!

Bryan and Julie’s Wedding {Abilene, Texas}

Bryan and Julie were married a few weeks ago out at Lytle Cove Cottage right outside of Abilene. It was my first wedding to get to photograph there (of 3 this year!) and I must say, it might be my new Abilene favorite venue. It was absolutely gorgeous, well taken care of, and the perfect setup for weddings. Anyways, on the wedding day, it was amazing the general feel of the day. Julie may have been one of the most laid back, relaxed brides of all time, and it made the day absolutely wonderful! It only added to the day the way Bryan looked at her – you could tell they were so in love. Bryan and Julie decided to have a first sight, and it was such a special moment to get to be a part of. They could talk and hang out before the wedding, and my second shooter, Renee, and I got to capture their true emotions of seeing eachother for the first time. It always helps the day go so much more smoothly when couples opt for a first sight!

Aaron and Lindsay’s Wedding {Abilene, Texas}

Aaron and Lindsay were married at Willow Creek Chapel here in Abilene, Texas. Their wedding was absolutely gorgeous and love filled. Both of their families were so sweet to be around and were so happy for these two to wed! We couldn’t have asked for better weather and lighting! The sun was absolutely yummy, especially during their First Sight and Bride and Groom photo time. I absolutely loved all of the little details that made up their wedding day. Anna and Garrett are Married! {Abilene, Texas}

Anna and Garrett were married a couple of weeks ago, and I had the absolute (and surprise!) honor of helping to shoot their wedding. Anna’s style is impeccably perfect. She chose a ‘countryside’ flair for her wedding, and chose Caroline Joy Photography to capture her day. I was absolutely thrilled when Caroline called me to help second shoot this wedding with her. Caroline and I actually went to high school together at dear ole’ Abilene High, but didn’t become better friends until the last year or so, when we were invited to a mutual friend’s house for a pizza night! I have loved getting to know Caroline, and she is an absolute joy to work with. Caroline was also super sweet to let me blog some images, so here is the eye candy! It was so great to second shoot a wedding for the first time in a sweet forever! Normally I am the main shooter, and get all of the key shots, but this go-round, I got to really focus on all the super precious details, and let Caroline take the reigns!
