Wilson’s College Graduation Photos {Abilene, Texas}

Wilson is graduating from ACU, and I couldn’t be happier for him! He is graduating Summa Cum Laude with a pre-law degree, and is on his way to the University of Texas Law School! The reason for the shoot was to make a customized graduation announcement to let everyone know that he is graduating ACU, and starting school again in the fall at UT! The design of the grad announcement was planned, then we did the shoot to get photos that would look the best in the format that Wilson liked. So, that is why almost all of the photos are vertical. After Wilson sends the announcements to his friends and family for them to see first, I will post his design on here for you to see, too!

Congrats, Wilson! I wish you all the best in Austin!

Of course at the end of the shoot, we had to get a few with his UT Law shirt on!!

Halli’s Senior Photos! {Abilene, Texas}

The day after I photographed Blair’s senior photos, I photographed Halli’s senior photos! Thanks again, Sara Kate for the referrals!! Halli was also a major trooper. The weather started out perfectly that day… not too hot, not too cold. She had three outfits, a light sweater and jeans, a cute short sleeved top and jeans, and also a spaghetti strap sun dress. Wouldn’t you know that by the time it was time for the sundress, the weather had dropped more than 20 degrees as a cold front blew in, and it was COLD!! Halli just rolled with the punches, though, and we got some great shots still! We just ran back to the car every few minutes to warm back up! Congrats to Halli on her accomplishments of graduating from Abilene Christian High School!!

Blair’s Senior Photos! {Abilene, Texas}

So, a few weeks ago, my phone started ringing like crazy! Apparently, the high school seniors at Abilene Christian High School had a deadline to turn their senior photos in that was fast approaching! Thanks to my senior rep this year, Sara Kate, both Blair and Halli called me up, and I squeezed their sessions in that week! Blair is absolutely gorgeous both inside and out, and I had a blast taking her around town doing her photos. She was really a trooper when it started sprinkling in the middle of her session!! We ran back to the car, chose a new location with some what of an onning to shoot under, and by the time we got there, the rain had stopped, WHEW! Blair was a natural in front of the camera – when I would mention a specific pose, she would know exactly what I was talking about, and even tweak it a bit to show some of her personality. I am so glad she did, because I think we got some awesome photos! Congrats, Blair, on your graduation!!

Sara Kate – Senior Rep 2010 {Abilene, Texas}

Hey blog world… meet Sara Kate! She is one of my senior reps for 2010. If anyone is interested in being a senior rep, I am still in need of one for Abilene High School and one for Cooper High School here in Abilene! Sara Kate goes to Abilene Christian High School. Senior rep photo sessions happen in the fall (as senior sessions should! That way you have photos for the whole year, can use them for awards banquets, etc. and don’t have to mess with taking photos in the spring when you are in the middle of prom, winter formal, graduation, and all that craziness!) Anyways, here is the beautiful Sara Kate, I hope you enjoy! Keep checking the blog because I have LOTS to catch up on this week! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

Nicole’s Senior Pictures

Last weekend, while I was in Lubbock, Texas for Sarah and Dave’s wedding, I also got the honor of photographing Nicole’s senior pictures! Nicole is graduating from Texas Tech University in August of this year, and her family wanted some pictures to document this great achievement! After graduation, Nicole is moving back to her home metro of Houston to go to grad school for occupational therapy.

Congrats, Nicole, on this great accomplishment, and I wish you all the best in Houston!!

Nathan – Senior 2009

This past weekend I had the priveledge of photographing Nathan. He is graduating in a few weeks from Abilene High. His mom wanted some photos that were super low-key, all in their front and back yard, only. I had a great time with that challenge, and I thought that the images came out great!

For high school senior portraits! If you are a high school senior at any of the Lubbock or Abilene schools (or surrounding areas) then we are talking to you! There are lots of different options for senior pictures, so I posted a few below of last year’s seniors to see how much variety there can be! Don’t forget, we can also do custome graduation annoucements to send out instead of the standard school-purchased ones. These are great for announcing that you are graduating, as well as getting to use several of your pictures for the announcement!

New Album!

I have decided for 2009 to start carrying a premium photo book. It can come in several sizes, but the one that will now come in one of the wedding packages is a 10×10 Leather bound book. It will have a cameo picture on the front of the book, rounded page corners, and will lay flat when opened. Here is the design that I have made to preview at the Bridal Fair.
