Michael and Kim Wedding {Abilene, Texas Wedding Photography}

This wedding was absolutely gorgeous!! Michael and Kim go to Champions Church out on Buffalo Gap road, and a while back, the church bought the old white mansion near their building. Although it was and still is a bit dilapidated, Kim had it fixed up perfectly for the big day. There was a great room for the girls to get ready in, a gorgeous ceremony location, and a library for the guys to get ready and hang out in. Also in the library, Michael gave all of his groomsmen a sword that he specifically chose for each friend, and received a sword of his own from his bride. The reception was downtown at the Elks and it was the perfect location for the laid back, fun reception they planned. Michael and Kim – I wish you guys the best!!

Eric and Leah were married last Tuesday at the gorgeous Windsor downtown! Leah is an art major at ACU and had lots of great DIY design details that truly reflected how creative and talented she is! Congrats, you two!

Buck and Meredith’s Wedding {Lubbock, Texas}

So a few weeks back Renee (one of my WONDERFUL second shooters!) and I headed up to Lubbock to photograph Buck and Meredith’s wedding at the Frazier Pavilion on Texas Tech’s campus. It was a beautiful venue with an equally beautiful bride. Meredith was so laid back on her wedding day, and it was a pleasure to get to hang out with her and Buck on their wedding day. Todd and Lauryn’s Wedding {Tyler, Texas}

Todd and Lauryn were married a few weeks back at the absolutely gorgeous Villa di Felicita in Tyler, Texas. Not only are Todd and Lauryn a super great couple, Lauryn is also my husband’s first cousin. This wedding was so neat to get to be a part of. Todd and Lauryn’s love was so apparent for each other, and they had lots of friends and family come together to be there for their big day. Todd and Lauryn – I wish you guys all the best, and I LOVED getting to spend the day with you. Your wedding was beautiful!

Buck and Meredith Sneak Peek! {Lubbock, Texas}

The next weekend after Lauryn and Todd’s wedding in Tyler, Texas, Renee, my second shooter, and I headed out to Lubbock to photograph Buck and Meredith’s wedding. It was a beautiful event at the Frazier Pavilion on Texas Tech’s campus. It was our first wedding to shoot there, and it made for a great venue! Meredith had it looking so pretty with simple decor, and had the ceremony in front of a great fireplace! Here are a few sneak peeks in the meantime before I have their full blog post!

Cody and Jazmin’s Wedding {Lubbock, Texas}

A few weekends ago I made the trip out to Ransom Canyon, near Lubbock, Texas, to photograph Cody and Jazmin’s wedding at the Chapel at Ransom Canyon. The grounds of the Chapel are very well taken care of, and make for great photos! The ceremony was in the chapel itself, and the reception was down the road a ways at the event center. It was so sweet to see the mix and mesh of two different families and cultures come together and put on such a beautiful wedding! Special thanks to Laci, our second shooter that day!

Pierce and Amanda Wedding {Abilene, Texas}

Welcome to Amanda and Pierce’s wedding! Amanda and Pierce were married out at Miller Ranch near Lawn, Texas. This was our first wedding to photograph at Miller Ranch, and I can say it was a joy. The grounds were lovely, and Amanda had it decorated perfectly. Amanda and Pierce have been dating since their days at Abilene Christian High School, and now at Abilene Christian University as well. Amanda is a part of an ACU social club, Siggies, and used their signature color of yellow for her decor, paired with black and white. Check out Amanda’s cake below! Misty’s Artistic Cakes made one of the cutest wedding cakes I’ve ever seen! The attention to detail was impeccable on both the bride’s cake AND Pierce’s cake! I almost didn’t know his cake was a cake at first! It was so realistic… modeled after his MG car! It even had REAL headlights that came on! I was impressed to say the least!

Amanda and Pierce, I had an absolute blast photographing your wedding day. You and your families were so genuinely happy, and the day seemed to reflect your personalities so perfectly. Hope you had a blast on your honeymoon!

Abby and Bobby Wedding {Abilene, Texas}

A few weekends back I had the pleasure of photographing Abby and Bobby’s gorgeous wedding. Abby and Bobby live in Dallas, but found me online. What a small world it was because it turns out that Bobby’s family knew mine from way back! Abby had impeccable taste in a true southern chic style. She was the stylist for the whole day, and it was absolutely perfect! Enjoy the photos!
