A few weeks back Jonathan, Meagan, and Meagan’s mom, Debbie, met me out in Buffalo Gap super early in the morning for a sunrise session. We started out in Buffalo Gap, and also went to several downtown locations around Abilene. I can’t wait for their wedding next summer!

Michael and Kim Sunrise Engagement Session {Abilene, Texas}

A couple of weeks back, I met Michael and Kim super SUPER early for a sunrise engagement session. Yes, I said sunrise. If you know me at all, you know I consider waking up before 9 early, so Kim and Michael, just know that I love you guys!! Truth be told, even though I can’t stand to wake up early, morning sunlight is OH.MY.COW. gorgeous!! I was giddy when the sun first started shining over the mountain out in Buffalo Gap. We actually had a guy in a truck come ask us what we were doing and two people called his cell phone while we were talking asking him if he was checking things out! Gotta love small town, USA. Kim and Michael, I hope you LOVE your engagement images as much as I do. I am so glad you love your canvas and metal print!

Todd and Lauryn Engagement Photos {Abilene, Texas}

Todd and Lauryn traveled to Abilene from Tyler, Texas for their engagement session a couple weeks ago! I am so excited to be shooting their wedding at the Villa di Felicita there in Tyler later this summer! Lauryn had some GREAT props, including a full setup for a picnic under the oak trees out in Buffalo Gap… so fun! It was even better because we had some cousin love time eating at Abuelos after their session! That’s right, Lauryn and my husband Zane are first cousins, and Todd and Lauryn both were so sweet about having to share a nice sit down dinner with us, our two year old, AND one month old at dinner at like 9:00 at night! It was interesting to say the least, but they were great about it, and Brooks is still talking about Todd, and loving the Legos Lauryn brought for him as his big brother present. Thanks, guys!

Bobby and Abby’s Dallas Engagement Session {Dallas, Texas}

So, as you’ll see from their sneak peek below, Bobby and Abby are getting married here in Abilene, but wanted their engagement session to be done in Dallas and Addison, Texas. It was an absolute blast, and I really enjoyed getting to photograph scenes that are very different than what we are able to catch here in Abilene! Check out the image of the Dallas Skyline for instance! Bobby and Abby are getting married at Lytle Cove Cottage next April, and I can’t wait for the wedding!

So, late last night I got back from photographing Bobby and Abby’s engagement session in and around Dallas, Texas!! They are getting married here in Abilene, but both live in the metroplex, and wanted their engagement photos to reflect that location. Now that Ashley and Cody have had a chance to see their pictures, it is not blog world’s turn! I had an absolute blast photographing Ashley and Cody. They had three outfits perfectly planned, and a great idea about what exactly they were wanting from their engagement session. It is so great to have clients that already have a vision! They were wanting a little bit more modern, and I was so excited to accomodate! This is my kind of style!
