Amanda’s Bridal Portraits {Abilene, Texas}

So, now that the big day has come and gone, and Ms. Jinkerson is now Mrs. Carpenter, it is time to show off Amanda’s bridal portraits! We met on a literally record breaking hot day in April to take these photos, and Amanda totally wins the biggest trooper award! She had tons of props that she and her family and friends helped haul around for the session, not to mention my voice was totally MIA during the session! I started out with somewhat of a voice, and by the end, I was whispering and hand motioning / modeling myself to show her what poses I was thinking of! Definitely an interesting way to do a shoot, but Amanda did great, and was super easy to pose and work with! I hope you all enjoy Amanda’s bridals!

Wedding Decor by Baack’s Florist {Buffalo Gap, Texas}

So, if you have ever had bridal portraits done by A Moment in Time Photography, you know that Baack’s most generously gives us a bouquet for the bridal portrait session. Baack’s Florist has some of the most beautiful arrangements in town, and they specialize not only in floral design, but entire event design as well. A few weeks back, Luke, the owner of Baack’s, called me up and wanted me to document one of the weddings that they had done the decor on. The wedding ceremony was to take place in the wedding chapel at the Buffalo Gap Historic Village, and the reception at Perini’s Bed and Breakfast and grounds. The bride and groom were actually from Houston doing a destination wedding in good ole’ Buffalo Gap, Texas!! Here are some photos of the wonderful job Luke and his team did. Todd and Lauryn Engagement Photos {Abilene, Texas}

Todd and Lauryn traveled to Abilene from Tyler, Texas for their engagement session a couple weeks ago! I am so excited to be shooting their wedding at the Villa di Felicita there in Tyler later this summer! Lauryn had some GREAT props, including a full setup for a picnic under the oak trees out in Buffalo Gap… so fun! It was even better because we had some cousin love time eating at Abuelos after their session! That’s right, Lauryn and my husband Zane are first cousins, and Todd and Lauryn both were so sweet about having to share a nice sit down dinner with us, our two year old, AND one month old at dinner at like 9:00 at night! It was interesting to say the least, but they were great about it, and Brooks is still talking about Todd, and loving the Legos Lauryn brought for him as his big brother present.:)Thanks, guys!

Keith and Jennifer Engagement Session {Abilene, Texas}

Jennifer and Keith passed by A Moment in Time Photography’s booth at the bridal fair a few weeks back. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to meet them, because I was still in the hospital from having baby Cohen!! But, my wonderful husband, and A Moment in Time Photography’s spring intern, Shaylee, were happy to talk with them and give them information about an engagement session. Jennifer and Keith are getting married in Ohio and were just needing some sweet, Southern engagement photos to celebrate their time in the great state of Texas!! I wish you guys all the best!
