While I am busy processing images from a few weddings, enjoy another sneak peek of a wedding I am working on! David and Maria were married in Shallowater, Texas, with the reception in Lubbock, Texas at Texas Tech University’s Merket Alumni Center. It was a gorgeous place to have a reception!

Back in December, A Moment in Time Photography hosted a Christmas photo session give-away. Jacki was one of the lucky winners, but had a new grandbaby on the way, not due until January, so she requested to do the session when her new grandson was born. The day of the shoot was a crazy one to say the least, but I am happy with how the photos turned out! The first ones are done at Howard and Jacki’s house, and the others in a bluebonnet field not too far from their house. Jacki, I hope you love these photos of your precious grandkids!

Wright Family Portraits {Abilene, Texas}

A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing the Wright family. Deneice had purchased a family session at the silent auction at the Business Expo, with proceeds going to a great cause! Deneice wanted portraits of her family, including her mother in law, all in white crisp shirts for her gift certificate. They just had their preview and order session at my studio this evening, and it was a delight hanging out with the crew again!

Buffalo Gap Food and Wine Summit Hosted at Perini’s {Abilene, Texas}

A few weeks ago while helping Kelly select her flowers for her wedding at Baack’s Florist, Luke, the owner, mentioned that they were going to be decorating and designing the Buffalo Gap Food and Wine Summit a few weeks later. Baack’s didn’t have very many photos of the events that they do, so Luke invited me out to take photos for them to use for advertising purposes. The whole weekend was hosted by Perini’s out in Buffalo Gap, Texas. On Friday night, Chef Stephen Pyles was the chef of honor, and the menu looked absolutely delectible. The theme that evening was very Morrocan / Eastern feeling. They even had belly dancers perform after I left! On Saturday evening, there was a sampling of 13 different chefs – from bar-be-que to desserts, and more. The video below is mainly highlighting the gorgeous work that Baack’s displayed, with snippets of the whole weekend. Click the Play button in the center of the photo below and Enjoy!

Ashley and Cody’s Engagement Session {Abilene, Texas}

Now that Ashley and Cody have had a chance to see their pictures, it is not blog world’s turn! I had an absolute blast photographing Ashley and Cody. They had three outfits perfectly planned, and a great idea about what exactly they were wanting from their engagement session. It is so great to have clients that already have a vision! They were wanting a little bit more modern, and I was so excited to accomodate! This is my kind of style! This post is now the first post in a new category here on the blog entitled “What to Wear” so that people can get a good idea of what to wear to a session! So, without any further rambling, here is Ashley and Cody!

Cadle Family Session {Abilene, Texas}

Mike and Jama just left my studio a few minutes ago after their preview and order session, and I can’t hardly stand it, I want to blog their family’s photos!! Jama won a free photo session at the Taste of Homes Cooking Show back in November, and we scheduled these photos just in time for their son’s second birthday. (Happy Birthday, Jackson!!) Anyways, check later in the week for a photo post, but in the meantime, I wanted to share the slideshow of the photos that we got from the session!

Thank you so much Mike and Jama for letting me take your family photos. It was such a blast, and Jackson is SO fun!!
