Bonnie Senior Photos {Abilene, Texas}

A few weeks back, I got to photograph Miss Bonnie. Crazy to say the least… she is one of my little sister’s good friends and I CANNOT BELIEVE that they are seniors!! I used to babysit Bonnie and her brother! Anyways, enough of that. Bonnie has turned into an amazingly beautiful young lady on the inside and out, and I was so happy to capture some senior photos for her and her family. Lauryn Bridals {Tyler, Texas}

Now that Lauryn is officially a Mrs., I thought it would be a good time to post her bridal portraits. I met Lauryn in Tyler, Texas a few weeks back to take her bridals. The ever talented Leann Burns of Chelle Salon did Lauryn’s hair, and make up artist Mollianna Redding did Lauryn’s makeup. Lauryn wanted a natural, elegant, and slightly vintage look, and I think Leann and Mollianna really helped to pull this off! Also – don’t you just love Lauryn’s bird cage veil?! And the feathers in her hair were great as well. I always love photographing brides with fun accessories – heels, different jewelry, hair accessories, and in Lauryn’s case, even a small makeup change at the end! Alright, enough gabbing, here are the photos!

Pierce and Amanda Wedding {Abilene, Texas}

Welcome to Amanda and Pierce’s wedding! Amanda and Pierce were married out at Miller Ranch near Lawn, Texas. This was our first wedding to photograph at Miller Ranch, and I can say it was a joy. The grounds were lovely, and Amanda had it decorated perfectly. Amanda and Pierce have been dating since their days at Abilene Christian High School, and now at Abilene Christian University as well. Amanda is a part of an ACU social club, Siggies, and used their signature color of yellow for her decor, paired with black and white. Check out Amanda’s cake below! Misty’s Artistic Cakes made one of the cutest wedding cakes I’ve ever seen! The attention to detail was impeccable on both the bride’s cake AND Pierce’s cake! I almost didn’t know his cake was a cake at first! It was so realistic… modeled after his MG car! It even had REAL headlights that came on! I was impressed to say the least!

Amanda and Pierce, I had an absolute blast photographing your wedding day. You and your families were so genuinely happy, and the day seemed to reflect your personalities so perfectly. Hope you had a blast on your honeymoon!

Amanda’s Bridal Portraits {Abilene, Texas}

So, now that the big day has come and gone, and Ms. Jinkerson is now Mrs. Carpenter, it is time to show off Amanda’s bridal portraits! We met on a literally record breaking hot day in April to take these photos, and Amanda totally wins the biggest trooper award! She had tons of props that she and her family and friends helped haul around for the session, not to mention my voice was totally MIA during the session! I started out with somewhat of a voice, and by the end, I was whispering and hand motioning / modeling myself to show her what poses I was thinking of! Definitely an interesting way to do a shoot, but Amanda did great, and was super easy to pose and work with! I hope you all enjoy Amanda’s bridals!

Sargent Family {Abilene, Texas}

I met Chris and Sommer through church almost two years ago. Chris works at ACU, and Sommer is a very talented massage therapist! Their little boy Maddox is as precious as they come, and Chris and Sommer asked me if I could create some family portraits for them with a more modern flair. One of Maddox’s favorite colors is orange, so you can see that emphasized in their clothing! Enjoy the photos!

Suzanne and Mitch Wedding {Abilene, Texas}

A few weekends ago I got to shoot my first morning wedding ever. That’s right, Suzanne and Mitch were officially hitched around 11am on a lovely Saturday morning in April. The wedding was located at the gorgeous Swenson House near downtown Abilene and it was so much fun getting to photograph all the antique details of the house! Suzanne and Mitch had a lovely wedding on the gorgeous main staircase in the house. Enjoy the photos.

Wedding Decor by Baack’s Florist {Buffalo Gap, Texas}

So, if you have ever had bridal portraits done by A Moment in Time Photography, you know that Baack’s most generously gives us a bouquet for the bridal portrait session. Baack’s Florist has some of the most beautiful arrangements in town, and they specialize not only in floral design, but entire event design as well. A few weeks back, Luke, the owner of Baack’s, called me up and wanted me to document one of the weddings that they had done the decor on. The wedding ceremony was to take place in the wedding chapel at the Buffalo Gap Historic Village, and the reception at Perini’s Bed and Breakfast and grounds. The bride and groom were actually from Houston doing a destination wedding in good ole’ Buffalo Gap, Texas!! Here are some photos of the wonderful job Luke and his team did.
